SENAI SESI Innovation Award 2013 distributes R$ 30,5 millions for innovative projects

Since the day 22 of July, registrations for the SENAI SESI Innovation Notice 2013 which provides for the distribution of R$ 30,5 million for the execution of technological and social innovation projects.

The SENAI SESI Innovation Announcement is aimed at national companies in the industrial sector of any size. micro companies (ME), Small Businesses (EPP) and even startups (incubated companies) we can participate.

The purpose of the notice is to promote and encourage research and technological innovation in the most diverse sectors such as: health, security, education, quality of life, between others. The competing companies will have until the day 30 September to submit your new product development projects, processes or services.

Launched in 2004, the first notice proposed by SENAI focused on innovative projects, which years later received the participation of SESI, already contemplated and awarded 412 offers all over Brazil. Paraná is the champion state of projects approved in 2012 with companies even conquering contributions for one more of an initiative.

Of the stipulated total of BRL 30,5 million to 2013, projects developed in partnership with SENAI will receive R$ 20 millions. For partnerships with SESI, the value is R$ 7,5 millions. Axis R$ 3 remaining million will be awarded in the form of grants from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). The maximum amount stipulated for investment per project can reach BRL 300 mil.

The tender schedule was divided into two phases:

Phase 1:

22/07/2013 - Public Notice Release

22/07/2013 a 30/09/2013 - Period for companies to present their proposals on the website

23/07/2013 a 11/10/2013 - Period for submission of proposals in the SGF system by the DRs - (Project, Partner Company, executors, Business Plan and the Forecast Consolidated Financial Framework)

18/10/2013 a 27/11/2013 - Evaluation of proposals received

13/12/2013 - Disclosure of trial results

 

Phase 2:

14/12/2013 a 20/02/2014 - Submission of signed contracts and Term of Commitment to SENAI/SESI-DN of approved proposals

14/12/2013 a 20/02/2014 - Final registration of proposals approved in the SGF (Financial physical schedule, SENAI-DR counterpart, SESSION-DR, Equipments, Technical Team)

12/03/2014 a 04/11/2015 - Execution of approved projects

04/11/2015 - Expected closure of approved projects

 

Benefits

Among the direct benefits received by approved innovative projects are:

  • Technical and financial support for the continuous development of technological and social innovation projects;
  • Support for project development involving SENAI professionals, of SESI and the company, with shared costs;
  • Specialized technical support through Industrial Technological Development grants from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) and National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).

 

Accountability

According to the notice, any and all expenses or investments caused by the execution of the projects, such as the purchase of equipment or services, must be proven through invoices delivered to the Regional Department (DR) which will report to the National Department. Such provision should also be made regarding the human resources and materials involved in the project whose use should be registered and demonstrated through statements delivered to the DR.

 

Technological and Industrial Development Scholarships

The so -called technological and industrial development scholarships (DTI), NO Total of R $ 3 millions, will be provided through an agreement between the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and according to cooperation agreement signed between SENAI/SESI/MCTI/CNPq.

This additional resource to the notice will be implemented and distributed according to CNPq's own rules and aims to complement the training of the teams of the awarded projects.

A Registration is free And there is no limit of approvals.
