Wireless Electric Power: Wireless

you didn't read wrong, we are not talking about wireless networks, we are talking about wireless power, wirelessly transmitted electrical energy, directly to the device and securely.

That's what promises the Powercast, a small American company that has an interesting product for battery-powered equipment and small batteries. Powercast itself was built around the technology, this is your specialty.

Powercast has created a small transmitter that sends low voltages of energy through the air, from an outlet, using radio waves, safely for us humans.

Radio waves change frequency when they encounter walls or objects. Small receivers that are on the equipment, os Powerhavesters (see picture below), which can be an MP3 player or a cell phone, "hear" the frequency and capture 70% of radio signal energy. This frequency is converted into electricity.

The possibilities are limitless, imagine if we join with the LEDs….
