A Siemens PLM Software, Siemens Industrial Automation division business unit launched Solid Edge ST3 with new features introduced from synchronous technology that promise to speed up product design and revisions and make it easier to import and reuse third-party CAD data.
The release also includes a variety of simulation-related improvements, design data management and over a thousand customer-driven improvements. “Synchronous technology has the ability to perform a wide variety of design tasks in a fraction of the time it would take a traditional approach. This gives engineers more time for creativity and innovation, resulting in better product creation in less time”, assegura Ken Versprille, director of PLM research at CPDA.
