MUG ELEVATORS: CONCEPT
Bucket Elevators are vertical conveyors for various types of granulated and powdered materials.. The material is transported through mugs fixed to a belt or elevator chain. The mugs receive the material fed from the load chute, at the foot of the elevator.
The material is lifted to the upper module, and discharged through the centrifugal force generated by the movement and speed of the mugs. The drive is carried out through the drum pulled at the upper end of the equipment.
They are equipment widely used when there is a need to change the load transmission level., mainly in installations situated at a higher or lower level, for receiving or issuing the product in bulk, or where there is a need to process the raw material using gravitational flow.

Bucket elevators can take different shapes, depending on operating mode and available space. The development of the elevator project starts directly from the material to be transported, considering its characteristics and peculiarities, as well as the expected transport capacity.
