Challenge to Engineers and Designers: GRAVITY TURBINE

Today, We are giving space in the Project Factory to our colleague Murilo Luciano Filho. Some time ago he presented us with a very curious and interesting project.. We are publishing your project here for you, who is not afraid of breaking paradigms, help to question, comment, clarify! Follow your project in full, your considerations and the challenge that our colleague offers you! (PARTICIPATE: USE THE POST COMMENT (End of Page) TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION AND YOUR POINT OF VIEW)

Folks, nobody likes to be challenged, but everyone likes to win one, Certain?

And here's one of the good and usable challenges of fine mechanics.! A current problem of the 21st century, but that could have 600 years old, or much more!

You are invited to solve a beautiful case and be extremely helpful... it's not a trick, or cheap puzzles!

You are invited to collaborate and use your talent.... and with a single condition: no hysteria, without axioms and totally without theoretical hypotheses...

come with everything, but come up with a rational and pragmatic description... with your personal independent technical opinion! You are very good at simulation and modeling? Want to assemble a thesis? Welcome!

We've known for a long time that this sort of thing, by physical laws, does not work. But so far no one has been able to explain why a ‘gravity turbine’ as now exposed and conceived, it's not possible! Remember that gravity is one thing and this is a spatial variation game... the mass variation is a consequence!

Another name is ‘Fractionation and Constant Mass Replacement’, or FRCM, or 'avalanchedrive'. pretentious names? be invited to build, or to destroy, but with your intelligence!

Your understanding of the concept is very important., so try to follow the sequence of the presented matter! If you don't understand the reasoning, you will not be able to judge for yourself. Any doubts can be discussed and clarified! The author, your challenger, have many, Many, arguments! But you're sure to find some others!

the lower wheel - in case You have any doubts related to moments and loads - it should be considered with 22 mooring points, as long as the other general proportions are maintained.

Layout variants are endless, but the appearance of these drawings is mostly schematic and understanding.. Notice how the 'replace speed' appears proportionally and naturally by the contour, or perimeter, of the lower wheel.

Everything being shown is serious., clean, no pranks and officially in full public domain.

Nothing will compare to the emotion you will feel when you realize what it is really about and the usefulness of your work.!

Ah, sim! Another thing! The author is sure that the thing do not lock... on the contrary, he is sure that she, under the effect of ‘g’,shoot...hence the need for one certain type of cargo...

FRACTIONATION AND CONSTANT MASS REPLACEMENT

The scheme below leads to the design of a body, segmented and articulated, that can be compared to itself under two different conditions: open and closed, and as for the quantities related to the occupied longitudinal space and relative weight, according to each confinement condition.

It is body we can call a caterpillar, or chain, must be kept vertical and laterally contained by guides, or rails, having varied longitudinal weights , always according to your open state, or the separation of its vertices. the guides, or vertical rails, allow sets, being free, can run freely down, under gravity, or up, against gravity, imposing potential or resistance with its mass.

For ease of understanding, a hypothetical caterpillar: may have 60kg per linear meter in the collected condition, or compressed, and 30kg per linear meter when expanded, presenting an imbalance of 50%, if the parameter chosen for the comparison is the longitudinal occupation. In the above scheme, on the scales, another example of composition appears in which, with equal weights, vary the heights, or the relative volumetric densities.
Correct understanding of the system requires a sequence of three compositions. In the next image below, no scheme ‘’ A ’’, we see a column of the compressed and channeled caterpillar, moored to a fixed sprocket, by the vertices on the right side. the caterpillar flows, by gravity, while the angles of your left vertices are opened and locked – note the 'automatic' locks.

No scheme ‘’ B ’’, the flow of 'A' repeats, but with the formation of an angle of 135° in relation to the vertical. The opening of the corners at the left vertices is natural, by the semi-circular conformation of the caterpillar in its 'fall'. The right vertices assume a straight line when released from the sprocket. Disregarding the acceleration, the movement ceases when the balance between the mass concentrations in the two columns is reached.

In 'C', basically the same behavior is observed in 'A' and 'B', but the direct confrontation between the masses led by the columns becomes much more evident. (When determining the diameter of the sprocket, dimensions favorable to the application of different forces may be chosen., since this diameter simulates the mechanism of the fulcrums of a simple tipper).

It is easy to check that the weights on each side will have different heights when equalizing, where the expanded caterpillar will maintain greater quota, in direct relation. For example, the column on the left will have 1 meter with weight 100 and the one on the right, theoretically, 2 meters with the same weight 100.

The collapse of the contracted spine, like a plunger, can be arranged and will be directly increased by being expanded on the perimeter of the wheel, by force of fall, proportional to the initial imbalance.

The elliptical scheme below shows what the 'C' hypothesis device would look like if there were a lighter column derivation, or less dense, to the left, 'refeeding' the greatest potential....

The author opines that the system will fire without interruption and by gravity, to the point that it is necessary to place a 'load' on the sprocket axle, inferior.

Any technician is invited to give their opinion on where, it's because, this system will lock in an ellipse.

The photo below shows only a part of the caterpillar of 120 kg, referring to the first prototype. Observe the repetitive joints and the opening frame latches. Each of the vertices is formed with double weights., as if they were little dumbbells.
